Cavernous malformation hemorrhage: what is the effect of physical activity?

The effects of different physical activities and sports on the risk of hemorrhage in patients diagnosed with cavernous malformations (CM) have been investigated in a prospective registry study.

Specialists from the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, USA, recruited 195 consecutive patients (mean age at diagnosis 41 years) with radiologically confirmed CM to a prospective registry beginning in 2015.
