Takeaway
European real-world data sources frequently capture data on Alzheimer’s Disease (AD) outcomes that are important to patients and caregivers (such as cognitive ability, treatment, and comorbidities/mortality); however, data on family- and caregiver-oriented outcomes are lacking.
Why this matters
Real-world data are important for the development of new treatments and strategies to support people with AD and their families. This study identifies gaps in real-world data that might inform future research studies.
